Any deep trauma to the skin results in scarring. This is due to the protective reaction of the body: first, inflammation occurs, and after its recovery, atrophic areas of the skin with dense structure and low elasticity remain. An example of such a phenomenon is post-acne scars, a feature of which is growing with deep layers of skin. It makes the affected areas seem to sink. On the face, they can have a rather unaesthetic appearance.
Modern cosmetology has a number of methods to get rid of post-acne scars, including the use of contour plastics. The main task of the cosmetic procedure is to separate the scars from the deep layers of the skin in order to be able to lift and align the sunk skin areas. The procedure is provided by a special needle with a rounded end – a cannula, after which fillers based on hyaluronic acid of a soft consistency are injected into problem areas of the skin. Fillers fill problem areas of the skin, separating them from the deep layers and raising the affected areas to the level of the body surface. Thus, after the contouring procedure, the post-acne scars become less noticeable due to the alignment of not aesthetic sunk areas.

The main advantages of acne scars correction using contour plastics are:

- short period of skin recovery after the procedure;
- just a few contraindications.
The procedure takes 30-40 minutes. The medicine is injected under the skin using a cannula that leaves virtually no injection marks. Sometimes, after the procedure, the appearance of skin edema and small bruises is allowed, which do not affect the result and pass away on their own within a few days.

Before contour plastics, you should:
- exclude the use of alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours before the procedure;
- refrain from thermal procedures: bath, sauna, prolonged sunbathing;
- do not massage the injection area after the procedure for 2 weeks.
